Ring Mike and get a free quote

The fastest way to reach us

Call 027 474 8717 and describe what needs moving, where it is going and roughly when. Mike will give you a free, no-obligation quote, and you can choose whether the work is priced as a quote or at hourly rates. If the job is outside the area we cover, you will be told on the call.

Email works too — mooniesmovers@gmail.com — and it is the better channel if you want to send photographs of the furniture, the stairs or the driveway before anyone arrives. Our postal address is 1620 South Eyre Road, Christchurch, New Zealand, which is also where the trucks are based.

The Facebook page is the other place we are active, including the community groups around Canterbury where a lot of this work comes from. Opening hours are not published: the call is the arrangement.

What to have ready when you ring

• What is moving — a whole house, a few rooms, or single heavy pieces
• Where it is coming from and where it is going, including any stairs or tight turns
• Anything awkward or irreplaceable that you would rather we knew about first
• Whether you would rather have a fixed quote or hourly rates

Where we work

Christchurch and the surrounding areas, and North Canterbury jobs. The address above is the business address and the base for the trucks; it is not a walk-in shop, so please ring before setting off.
